Dr. Panda is a materials scientist and interested in advanced materials processing through powder metallurgy or severe plastic deformation processing routes to understand the structure-property correlations in engineering materials. He is also working on solid-state hydrogen storage materials, particularly light-weight metal hydrides and complex hydrides. He is also interested in the development of low-cost glass/glass-ceramics/glass composites by utilizing the waste materials.
