Research Funding Support

For Short Term International Travel

For Short Term International Travel Students, Faculty and other researchers are encouraged for participation in the various events, conferences, seminars, workshops or collaborative research visits. The institute provides financial support for such travels.  However, at present, Institute resources are not sufficient to extend this to all such short term travels. To enable our students to have international research exposure, the institute would like to invite alumni to set up endowments or mechanism to offer one time financial grants to deserving researchers for international short term visits. IAIC can be contacted for the same.

For Long Term International Stay

In the last few years, the Institute has been working hard to establish relationships with International universities and colleges for not only research but exploring options for exchange programmes, double degree or jointly supervised PhD Programmes. Recently the institute has been putting together more collaborations with prestigious universities particularly on this front. The recent additions to these efforts are Vrije University AmsterdamNanyang Technical University Singapore (in progress).  A comprehensive list of all MoUs are given here.  These initiatives requires the researchers to travel to partnering international institution for a longer duration. Hence, requires a substantial financial assistance. To realize this MoUs and to enable our students to have internationally oriented careers and augment national research with international collaborations in an effective manner, the institute would like to invite alumni to set up endowments or mechanism to offer one time financial grants to deserving researchers for international short term visits. IAIC can be contacted for the same .
