Dr. Chandan Upadhyay is an Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Technology. Dr. Upadhyay has received Master in Physics from Banaras Hindu University in 1998,  and Ph.D. in Physics in 2004  from Indian  Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He had his post-doctoral fellowship at "Laboratory of Chemical Physics and Microbiology for Environment " UMR-7564, CNRS-University of Henri Poincaré Nancy1, France; Mars-Mössbauer Group, Institut für Anorganische und Analytische Chemie, Johannes Gutenburg-Universität Mainz, Germany and IFF –Soft matter divison, Forschungszentrum, Jülich, Germany. He joined School of Materials Science and Technology in February 2008.
