Dr. Panwar is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Radiofrequency (RF) & Microwave Materials and Structures at the Interdisciplinary School of Materials Science and Technology, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. Before the current assignment, he was an Assistant Professor of RF & Microwave Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Jabalpur during 2017-22. Prior to this, he has been Visiting Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Opto-Electro-Robotics Lab of KAIST, South Korea. He serves as an IEEE Senior Member since 2019. His multidisciplinary research interests include electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation techniques, stealth technology (materials and structures), RF and microwave absorbers, metamaterials (artificial materials), frequency selective surfaces, high impedance surfaces, airborne antennas & radomes, artificial intelligence/machine learning in electromagnetics, and electronic waste management. Dr. Panwar has strong application-oriented, government-funded project engagements having great potential to be commercialized. He has authored more than 90 research papers (in peer-reviewed journals/conference proceedings), and 05 patents. He is a reviewer for various government-funded projects and leading International journals of repute. He has served as an invited speaker and session chair for several IEEE conferences/ workshops in India and abroad. Besides, he is a recipient of various reputed National and International awards/fellowships.
