Multiphase Machines and Drives, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy Applications, Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles, Smart Grid

My research is focused on design and development of DC/DC, DC/AC power electronic converters, space vector modulation techniques, and multiphase/ multi-level drive topologies. They are intended to be used for electric vehicles, grid interfacing of renewable energy sources and so on. 

Wider areas of research:
MPPT for solar and wind applications.
Power systems with high penetration of renewable energy sources.
Energy management of EV network.
DC/ AC Microgrid, Smartgrid
