Dr. Amitesh Kumar joined IIT(BHU) in December, 2016 as an assistant professor. Prior to joing IIT(BHU), Dr. Amitesh Kumar served NIT Rourkela and NIT Goa as an assistant professor. He earned his engineering degree in mechanical engineering from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur. After that, he completed his MTech (2005) and PhD (2010) from IIT Kharagpur in mechanical engineering.  

  • Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer at UG level.
  • Numerical Methods in Thermal Engineering and Convection Heat Transfer at PG level.
