Educational Qualifications  :

  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from R.E.C. Rourkela (NIT, Rourkela) in the year 1996.
  • M.Tech. and PhD in Manufacturing Engineering from IIT Madras in 2003 and 2013 respectively.

PhD Thesis Title: Modeling of tool edge radius effects and prediction of cutting force components in micro-end-milling.
Awards and Recognitions:

  • 88th Rank in GATE 2001 in Mechanical Engineering paper.
  • Awarded National Scholarship in 1988 on the basis of marks obtained in HSCE, Odisha.

Workshop organized:             
Organized a workshop on Micro-Machining Technology (MMT 2016) during June 17-18, 2016. It was well attended by participants from different parts of India. Resource persons were from premier Institutes such as IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Patna, Jadavpur University, BARC Mumbai and IIT (BHU).
